In working with mindfulness as a therapeutic technique, I blend the rigour of a psychotherapeutic training with the lived experience of over twenty years studying, practicing and teaching meditation.
In recent years I have designed and delivered the weekly mindfulness therapy group for the Priory Hospital North London as well as seeing patients there on an individual basis. I also facilitate a mindful reflection programme for bereaved adults.
Mindfulness is a special way of paying attention and being present in our life from moment to moment. It enables the individual to cultivate a calm and concentrated awareness of one's thoughts, feelings and actions. It's not about perfection or being perfect, rather it is characterised by notions of acceptance, compassion and insight.

As an increasingly sought after method to support well-being, mindfulness provides a powerful and effective antidote to stress, anxiety and panic, chronic pain, depression, ruminating thoughts and many other physical and mental health conditions.
This ancient and gentle technique can help anyone who struggles with fear, worry and distraction to discover a new focus on the present and gradually find a way of living in the here and now.
My sessions provide a step-by-step approach introducing clear and simple practices which are accessible and relevant. These enable you to experience mindfulness not as a hazy ideal or interesting theory but as a practical and grounded way of being in the world today.
